STRIPPING WESTERN BLOTS FOR REPROBING

1.  Immediately after exposure to x-ray film, wash blot or store

     refrigerated in TBST or dH₂O until ready to strip.

2.   Wash membrane 2 x 5 minutes in dH₂O.

3.  Add 15 ml stripping solution.

4.  Incubate 20 minutes at room temperature on a rotary shaker.

5.  Wash membrane 2 x 10 minutes in dH₂O.

6.  Membrane may now be dried and stored at 4ºC in TBST with

     preservative.

 5% Acetic Acid (938 ul glacial acetic acid/15 ml dH₂O)
